| What? | The Winter Wildcat Rogaine is TWO 10 hour map and compass foot-only navigation events. Participants will go out and look for checkpoints in the forest for the allotted time. Solos or teams (any size) are welcome. No GPSes are allowed - only map and compass. | ||||||
| Where? |
The event will be held at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve near Glen Jean, WV. |

| When? |
The events are Saturday, 14 Feb 2026 and Sunday, 15 Feb 2026. Check-in will be from 6:30am-8am in the morning. Race start will be around 8am, and you have 10 hours (until 6pm) to return to the finish line. |

| How Much? |
Regular registration is $200 for both days). LATE REGISTRATION: Price goes up in December and again in January to come play with us. |

| What's Included? |
Your fee gets you a pre-plotted map, a branded piece of gear, and a nice hot dinner after the event.
People who register after December 25th WILL NOT get any branded gear. |

| Lodgings? | Summit Bechtel Reserve has the Yamagata Lodge onsite now. You can book a room using a discount code (TanZ2026). There are approximately 40 rooms onsite. You can also book a cheaper bunkhouse room onsite down at the Eagle's Nest Lodge - about 5 miles from the S/F. There are also nearby hotels in Oak Hill, Fayetteville, and Beckley. | ||||||
| Breakfast |
Coffee/tea will be provided free each morning and available to everyone. You can purchase breakfast (eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, pastries, yogurt, fruit) for both days. It will be in the mornings from about 6:15-7:30am at the Yamagata Lodge (race HQ). |
